Priorities

My priorities are as follows:

Focus on rebuilding the Parks and Recreation Dept of our parents and grand parents days. Kids need activities to keep them active and engaged in their community. Providing places to safely play helps keep our kids off the streets, gives them a purpose, and helps them socially, mentally, and physically.

Protect our beautiful natural resources, our dunes, beaches, and waterways. We have such a beautiful city and we are truly gifted to have the best beach in state and our city is growing. Our growth should improve the city and not harm the environment. I have the expertise to make educated and science backed decisions about developments that will impact our natural resources.  

Increase government transparency. The citizens should have a say in what happens in our community and making sure that their voice is heard and represented in a timely fashion is paramount to the success of our city. I will make sure citizens are informed about issues so they can address the commission with their concerns.

Vocalize on your behalf. I will make sure I am actively listening to my constituents and their concerns, representing them on the commission. Your voice is important and I will listen.

I believe in the progress Muskegon has made and I look forward to a safer, more engaged, and transparent Muskegon once elected.
